About Our Program

The program in the Department of Molecular and Medical Pharmacology provides training on developing new detection approaches and therapeutic strategies for disease states. The training program has over 60 committed faculty mentors with strong interests in cancer biology, immune regulation, metabolic control and virology. The goal is training undergraduate students, graduate students, and postdocs on strategies that will improve the early diagnosis and prognosis of disease and guide the development of novel and effective therapeutic strategies for disease.
