About
I’m a biomedical researcher with a strong passion for immunology, synthetic biology, and therapeutic development. After earning my B.S. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from UCSC, I joined the UCSF PROPEL post-baccalaureate program and began working as a Staff Research Associate II across the laboratories of Dr. Wendell Lim, Dr. Scott Zamvil, and Dr. Michael Wilson. My primary focus has been on engineering targeted T cell therapies to treat multiple sclerosis and glioblastoma. Initially, I contributed to the development of CAR-T cells designed to target B cells in a mouse model of multiple sclerosis. Later on, I focused on engineering synNotch T cells for brain-specific delivery of suppressive cytokines or CARs.
I’m thrilled to join the MMP program to continue growing as a scientist, explore the molecular underpinnings of disease, and contribute to advancing novel therapies from bench to bedside! Outside the lab, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, backpacking, and diving in the ocean.
