About
I graduated from UC San Diego with a B.S. in Molecular and Cell Biology, where I focused on targeting the protein homeostasis network for potential treatment of acute myeloid leukemia (AML). After graduation, I continued working in the lab as a staff research associate, investigating the potential of combined treatments targeting pathways involved in stress adaptation. During the summers, I joined an immunology research lab at the National Health Research Institutes in Taiwan to investigate the role of the kinase MAP4K2 in T-cell receptor (TCR) signaling and T cell-mediated immune responses. Based on these experiences, my current research interests are in understanding the molecular mechanisms of cancer progression. I also hope to explore the roles of metabolism or the immune system in cancer or other diseases. Outside the lab, I enjoy spending time with friends and family, reading, and cooking.
