Junseok Lee is an Assistant Project Scientist in the Liquid Biopsy Lab at UCLA. With more than a decade of contributions to the field of drug/gene delivery systems, his research experience covers the development of drug delivery systems requiring interdisciplinary backgrounds in organic, polymer, and analytical chemistry, as well as chemical and biomedical engineering. For comprehensive preclinical studies, he has collaborated with several medical institutions. His current research interests include: 1) the development of a diagnostic platform to detect tumor-derived extracellular vesicles (EVs) for liquid biopsy, and 2) the application of self-assembled nanoparticles to deliver genome editing materials for treating inherent diseases.
