I graduated with a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering with a minor in Computer Science from the University of Virginia. As an undergraduate, I investigated the molecular mechanisms behind Serinc5-mediated ablation of HIV-1 infectivity. I have also spent time performing research at the NIH and at UCSF. In the MMP program, I am interested in developing novel therapeutics applied towards virology and immunology; however, I am still broadly interested in many subjects. Outside of research, I am still a busybody. I like to work out and play sports. You will likely find me listening to music or playing an instrument. In my free time, I enjoy adventures and hanging out with friends.
