About
I graduated from CU Boulder with a B.S. in Biochemistry and an M.S. in Materials Science and Engineering with a focus on bioengineering. My research experience spans both academic and industry settings, including roles at CU Boulder’s Stem Cell Research and Technology Resource Center, Umoja Biopharma, and PBS Biotech. I’ve contributed to projects involving CRISPR/Cas9 gene editing, iPSC-based disease modeling, and the development of engineered immune cells for next-generation therapies. I’m particularly passionate about improving the safety and efficacy of gene and cell therapies through precise genome engineering, and expanding the therapeutic reach of these technologies. I believe these approaches have the potential to fundamentally reshape how we treat cancer and inherited diseases, and I’m excited to advance them further during my PhD. Outside the lab, I enjoy fishing off the beach, biking, and eating Chipotle.
