I graduated from UCLA with a B.S. in Molecular, Cell, and Developmental Biology in 2023. After graduating, I worked as a Staff Research Associate in the Lipshutz Lab at UCLA for two years where I worked on multiple projects centered on developing genetic therapy for rare liver and metabolic disorders. I have been focusing on characterizing new mouse models and testing the efficiency of AAV and LNP-based gene therapies. Because of my experiences, I developed a strong passion for the creation of novel therapeutics, an interest that I hope to continue in the MMP program. Outside the lab, I like to try and scope out the best coffee/matcha places in LA and spend time with family and friends.
