About
I graduated from UCLA in Spring 2025 with a B.S. in Molecular, Cell, and Developmental Biology with a specialization in Computing and a minor in Biomedical Research. My research journey began in Dr. Steven Jacobsen’s lab, where I contributed to a screen for proteins that can epigenetically repress gene expression in Arabidopsis. I later joined Dr. Willy Hugo’s lab, where I studied B cell cross-presentation and characterized B cell receptor (BCR) sequences that recognize the cancer-testis antigen NY-ESO-1. Through my undergraduate research experiences and courses, I developed a strong interest in cancer biology and immunotherapy. As a graduate student in the MMP program, I hope to further explore tumor cell regulation and contribute to the development of novel cancer immunotherapies. Outside the lab, I enjoy playing the pipa, taking road trips, and visiting national parks and museums.
